Northrop Grumman has awarded a contract to Saab to support the US Marine Corps (USMC) AN/TPS-80 Ground/Air Task Oriented Radar (G/ATOR). The contract, valued at $36.7m, will see Saab provide radar system components and subsystems. The award is for the full rate production phase of the G/ATOR programme.

Saab has been contracted by the Nato Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) to upgrade air surveillance radars in Norway. Under the contract, the company will upgrade three SINDRE I air surveillance radars by replacing obsolete hardware and updating software.
